CEO's Message

It is indeed a privilege to serve Mukhtar A. Sheikh Hospital (MASH), Multan, as it matches my life-long desire to serve my community. In other words, I am on operation “giving back” after serving 35 years at the Aga Khan University, Karachi in various roles. At MASH our priority is to bridge the gap in quality of healthcare available to all cadres of society irrespective of their background. I am thrilled to be part of a motivated team who believe in innovation and change through modern-day novel solutions to realize the dream of its founders and trustees with hard work, passion and professional excellence.

MASH has established an organizational culture that is driven and sustained by well qualified staff and solid citizens, and this distinguish it from other such organizations. With more than 35 years of leadership experience, I believe strength of any health care organization lies in the diversity of its workforce including doctors, nurses, allied health-care professionals and support staff, and their ability to work as a team. Moreover, we resolute to inculcate an enabling environment for our staff and bring state-of-the-art technology to provide compassionate and ethical care to the community. Since its inception (2 years ago) MASH has had an exponential growth and has become a respected brand in Southern Punjab region of Pakistan to provide quality medical care at international standards.

As we are turning the corner, there may be many bumps along the way and all that we wish to do will not happen overnight, but we will continue the journey to improve our facilities and the MASH will be considered as a yard stick to measure the quality of medical care in Southern Punjab and Pakistan, Insha’Allah.
