1 Overview

He completed his graduation from Nishtar Medical College and joined Surgery Department at Aga Khan University Hospital (Karachi). There he underwent training in acute and chronic surgical problems. He was actively involved in research and published International publication on Amoebic liver abscess, surgical management. He completed his 5 year training and joined Shaukat khanum memorial and research centre (Lahore) for fellowship in Surgical oncology (Cancer Surgery). There too he was not only involved in patient management but also extensively researched on Esophageal cancer writing 4 International publications and presenting his work on Minimally Invasive Esophagectomy in European Society Of Surgical Oncology meeting in Switzerland. He also worked in Liver Transplant unit at SIUT (Karachi ).

Before joining our Institute he has worked as Consultant Surgeon abroad and was working as Assistant Professor in King Edward Medical University (Lahore). He brings his immense experience to help build evidence based practice for vast range of surgical problems in South Punjab.

Under his leadership our Surgery department strives to deliver best, compassionate and comprehensive surgical care to our patients.
