Job Responsibilities

• Performing, in-house quality control review of audit assignments
• Building comparative analysis and asses business risk faced by Hospital.
• Development of an annual audit plan considering potential risks and priorities.
• Ensure quality control of the audit plans on an ongoing basis, based on risk priorities in the Hospital.
• To plan internal audit assignments for investigations and risk advisory work.
• To plan audits on specific areas based on requirements from the audit committee.
• Coordination with Department Heads to execute audit activities as per the approved Audit Plan and Audit Program.
• Ensure that departmental mandate and business goals are met and that professional standards (JCIA) are maintained at all times.
• Reviewing monthly departmental performance reports and suggesting improvements.
• Ensure completion of audit assignments to provide independent, objective assurance to the Chairman/ Board of Members.
• Evaluating adequacy and effectiveness of company system of financial and operating controls through audits, reviews and other necessary procedures.
• Review and evaluate compliance with applicable standards, policies, directives or regulatory requirements.
• Undertake special assignments as per the directive of Chairman/ Board Audit Committee.

Job Specifications Education:

• ACA, CIA, ACCA

Experience:

• At least 8 years of experience preferably in the Healthcare industry
