MASH Urology Faculty Participates in Hands-on Training on RIRS for Kidney Stones
The esteemed faculty of MASH's Urology Department, including Dr. Ali Akbar Zehri (Senior Consultant Uro-Surgeon), Dr. Rana Ata ur Rehman (Consultant Uro-Surgeon), and Dr. Muhammad Faran (Assistant Consultant Uro-Surgeon), actively participated in the Hands-on Training on Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) for Kidney Stones, organized by Faculty of The Teaching Hospital, Dera Ghazi Khan Prof. Dr. Khalid Malik and Associate professor Dr. Asif Gurmani.
RIRS is a minimally invasive procedure used for the treatment of kidney stones. Utilizing a flexible endoscopic camera, this advanced technique allows for the precise fragmentation of stones using a laser, enabling their removal or natural passage.
MASH remains committed to advancing medical expertise and enhancing patient care through continuous learning and skill development.
