Dr. Shahzad Amjad Khan

Since graduating in 2001 among the top students of his class at Aga Khan University Hospital, with Honors, Distinctions and Merit Awards in multiple subjects, Dr. Shahzad Amjad Khan has had a distinguished academic, research and clinical career. He started as an Instructor in Basic Sciences at the Aga Khan University with active and leadership roles in the implementation of Problem-based Integrated Curriculum and was awarded the Department’s Inaugural Pride of Performance Award for Excellence in Teaching and Research for the year 2003. He has worked in rotations in some of the best hospitals in the US and UK and subsequently he completed his Residency Training for FCPS at Aga Khan University Hospital (Department of Surgery).

As a Consultant Surgeon, he has a distinguished track record of promoting Safe Surgery Practices and has worked as Assistant Professor of Surgery in Independent Medical College, Faisalabad, as well Chair of Surgery at Mian Muhammad Trust Hospital, Faisalabad. He pioneered Multidisciplinary Cancer Care and Bariatric Surgery in Faisalabad before joining Mukhtar A Shiekh Hospital Multan.
