Doctor Experience
Dr. Syed Ali Rukh is a well know Rheumatologist of South Punjab. In 2006, he graduated from King Edward Medical College – one of the most prestigious institutions of Pakistan. He got fellowship in Internal medicine in 2014 and later on in Rheumatology after completion of training (2016 to 2018) from Shaikh Zayed Hospital Lahore having first dedicated ward of Rheumatology in Pakistan. He is the first and only qualified Fellow of the College of physicians and surgeons of Pakistan in the specialty of Rheumatology in South Punjab. He has a vast experience of treating patients in many tertiary care hospitals like Mayo hospital – Lahore, Shaikh Zayed Hospital – Lahore, Shaikh Zayed Hospital – Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawal Victoria Hospital – Bahawalpur as Consultant Rheumatologist and Medical specialist. He is not only a Rheumatologist but also a teacher and keen researcher. His published articles include “Assessment of Pulmonary Hypertension in patients with limited and diffuse systemic sclerosis” and “Frequency of Left Ventricular Diastolic Dysfunction in type II diabetics with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease”. Dr Syed Ali Rukh is executive member of Pakistan Society for Rheumatology and a member of Asian Pacific league of Associations for Rheumatology.
